Victorian Two-Tone Ring with an Oval Tahitian Pearl and Antique Cut Diamond Accents

Period: c. late-1800s; Victorian; non-U.S. origin (we're still trying to determine if this is from Europe or, possibly but less likely, Australia)

Materials: 18K gold; silver (note: testing of the “white” metal was inconclusive); pearl; diamonds

Stamps: “GM” , a sort of abstracted arched radiant crown, “750”, and “U.5” — we have yet to confidently interpret stamp specificity (beyond “750”, which denotes 18K gold)
Dimensions: The top measures approx. 21.5 mm north to south and 16.5 mm east to west; the ring stands approx. 9.7 mm tall above the fingers (essentially the diameter of the pearl)

Size: approximately 5 1/2, as this ring’s finger size is difficult to determine (free sizing, though sizing may be somewhat approximate — contact us for more details)

Gemstones:
Center: GIA-identified oval, gray (natural) color, orient, cultured saltwater “Tahitian” pearl (9.86 x 9.66 mm—length not measurable)
Accents: 1.18 ctw., est.; twenty mixed Old European Cut and Single Cut diamonds w/approx. J to L color and SI through I clarity overall; diamonds assessed in their mounting by a GIA GD--weights and grades are approximate and determined as mounting permits
