Gemstones:
Center: GIA-assessed 1.30 carat Cushion Brilliant/Step cut, transparent, deep-blue, natural sapphire — GIA classified as “no heat” and “Royal Blue”, a very rare designation in the world of sapphires, as most untreated blue sapphires do not reach the intensity required for the “Royal Blue” label. Many are too pale, too dark, or have color zoning.
Sides: 1.54 ctw. (weighed); two late-Transitional Cut / early-Brilliant Cut diamonds, one is approx. G-H color with SI1 clarity; the other is approx. G color with VS2 clarity (side diamonds assessed in their mounting by a GIA GD--weights and grades are approximate and determined as mounting permits)
