Period: this is a new ring by Pebble & Polish, designed in a late-Victorian / early 1900s style. In homage to the gold of that era, we chose for this ring a slightly warmer and earthier hue of 18K yellow gold. It’s not the “antique gold” color of 18K rose, but it is warmer than the sunnier yellow of some 18K alloys. We designed the piece with an 8-prong flared semi-Belcher-style basket, showing just a hint of a buttercup beneath the stone. The shoulders were hand-milgrained and engraved with an organic curvilinear scroll form.
Note that this ring was crafted for this stone—the ring you see in the pictures is the ring you get upon purchase.
