Period: This is a vintage c. 1930s Lambert Bros. engagement ring. Lambert Bros. was a prestigious NYC jewelry house established in 1877. It was closed almost exactly 100 years later. The company was perhaps best known for its ornate, high-quality Edwardian pieces with detailed filigree, and this ring is a great example! Though created some years after the peak of Edwardian design, this piece characterizes the movement's emphasis on refined regality, further evidencing Lambert Bros.' attention to detail and quality production.
