Estate Scott Kay Edwardian Revival Engraved Diamond Wedding Band

Scott Kay (not to be confused with Kay Jewelers) was a celebrated designer best known for his engagement and bridal designs in platinum. Indeed, he was a foremost figure in returning the metal to the fore of jewelry production just over 30 years ago. Before then, platinum was the metal of choice for Edwardian and Art Deco designers, but ultimately waned through the Mid-Century period (c. 1950s). This piece is iconic Kay, then, as it embodies his strengths in bridal jewelry, platinum metal, and Edwardian and Art Deco Revival design.
