c. Early 1900s Gold 8-Prong Solitaire with an Early Art Deco Palm / Fan Engraving Pattern

Period: c. 1900 - 1920s post-Victorian 8-prong solitaire, hand engraved with a palm fond / fan pattern reminiscent of early Art Deco wallpaper or graphic prints

Materials: 18K gold; diamond

Dimensions: the diamond measures 8.25 mm at its widest point; the ring stands approx. 6.00 mm tall above the finger

Diamond: GIA-assessed 2.41 carat Old Mine Cut diamond with L color and I1 clarity—this stone has a clean center, as the “grade-setting" clarity characteristic is relegated to the periphery, near a prong. It’s our opinion that, in normal wearing conditions, the stone "reads" much better than a typical I1.
