Art Deco 1.10 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring with French Hallmarks

Contemporary squared halo rings aren't exactly common, but they're certainly around. Vintage squared halos, however, especially those with a gentle cushion shape, are much rarer. There is a subtle softness and elegance to such pieces when compared to their somewhat sterile contemporary counterparts. This piece is particularly striking for its beautifully performing Old European Cut diamond center, putting it leagues ahead of similar pieces crafted in the last 60+ years.
