This ring embodies the very best of Edwardian jewelry (c. 1900-1920). The lilting line comprising the basket's filigree recalls French Regal design. On the shank, the organic lily and vine motif shows the art historical embrace of Art Nouveau tendencies (c. 1890) while the arrowed shoulders anticipate the more linear and calculated designs developed during the Art Deco period (c. 1920-1940). This ring is in stellar structural and aesthetic condition and is ready for daily wear. This extraordinary mount is topped with a GIA certified 3.12 carat Old European Cut diamond with excellent light performance and scintillation. It's quite the cake and cherry.
