Period: 1850 early-mid Victorian; has a London stamp

Markings: the ring is hand-inscribed in a cursive font, “3 July 1850” and “W.P. ? [looks like “Olt”]” and is stamped with full British marks: left-facing female profile; crown; 18; leopard; and what I presume to be a (now illegible) “O” or “P” 1850 date mark
