c. 1900 Late Victorian Cabochon Cut Fire Opal and Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

Period: c. 1890s - early 1900s late/post Victorian

Materials: 14K gold with a faint rose hue; diamonds; fire opal

Dimensions: the face measures approx. 15 mm wide north-to-south; the ring stands 4.10 mm tall above the finger (6.80 mm tall including the center stone)

Size: currently between 5 3/4 - 6 (free sizing)

Gemstones: 

    Center: natural, earth-mined fire opal, cut en cabochon (measures approx. 9.62 x 8.60 x 4.38 mm)

     Accents: (1.25-1.40 ctw., est.) fourteen Old Mine Cut diamonds with approx. G-H color and SI1-I2 clarity overall (diamonds graded in their mounting by a GIA GD)
