This Edwardian ring juxtaposes ornate scrollwork—such as that found on ancient Corinthian capitals—with a nature-derived twig and leaf motif. The result is an exquisite open-filigree engagement ring that features craftsmanship and delicacy that are absent from jewelry created after the 1930s. Yet the method of fabrication and hand-tooling have work-hardened the metal, making it far stronger for its mass than contemporary pieces.
