Classic c. 1910s Edwardian Platinum Engagement Ring with Ornate Open Metalwork

Period: c. 1910s Edwardian—this is a textbook Edwardian design and is in truly excellent condition given its age.

Materials: platinum; diamonds

Dimensions: 7.40 mm across the top, north to south; the ring stands 5.75 mm tall above the finger

Size: 5 (free sizing)

Diamonds: 1.25 ctw., est. (All diamond information obtained from an IGI Identification Report; a printed facsimile is included with purchase)

    Center: 1.04 carat (est.) Round Brilliant diamond [note: this can be considered a Transitional Cut because of the culet and the broad pattern caused by the shallow pavilion facets]; F-G color and VS1-VS2 clarity

    Accents: fourteen [note: the report states “thirteen,” but there are in fact fourteen] Single Cut diamonds; .21 ctw., est.; approx. near colorless and SI clarity
