    Center: a 1.98 carat Old Mine Cut diamond (GIA assessed as Cushion Brilliant; W to X Light Brown color; I2 clarity--at 9.09 x 8.73 mm, this is a very spready Old Miner. For reference, a 9 mm modern cushion cut weighs approx. 2.75 carats, so this stone has considerable face-up value for its weight. Plus, the center has a lovely faint-peach undertone to the brown that we just adore.)
