Period: c. 1900s Edwardian; handmade with ornate open filigree in the basket

Materials: 18K gold; platinum

Dimensions: the top of the ring measures approx. 15.00 mm in diameter; the piece stands 6.75 mm tall above the finger

Gemstones: all stones assessed in their mounting by a GIA GD—weights and grades are approximate and determined as mounting permits

Center: weighed 2.80 carat opal, cut en cabochon (the stone measures approx. 10.00 mm in diameter)
     Accents: sixteen mixed antique cut diamonds, primarily very old and deep Swiss Cuts and Single Cuts, ranging approx. I through L color and I1 to I2 clarity (.75 ctw., est.)
