Antique Post-Victorian Cathedral Mount Solitaire Engagement Ring with an Old Mine Cut Diamond

Period: c. late 1800s to early 1900s; late-Victorian in design, but most likely fabricated leading into WWI

Materials: 18K rose gold; diamond

Dimensions: the top of the ring measures approx. 7.0 mm north to south; it stands 5.0 mm tall above the finger

Size: just over 4 1/2 (free sizing — contact us for more information)

Diamond: .65 carat (est.) Old Mine Cut diamond with approx. L color and I1 clarity (note: the primary inclusion is well concealed beneath a prong. To our eyes, the stone “reads” like a VS diamond in this mount); diamond assessed in its mounting by a GIA GD—weight and grades are approximate and determined as mounting permits
