Midcentury Five-Stone Diamond Band by WAP Watson / Exquisite

Period: c. 1955 - 1965; Midcentury

Maker: the ring is stamped “Exquisite”; side-by-side are two additional stamps, an unidentified mark (likely that of the individual designer/maker of the ring) next to a © mark, used only after 1955. The “Exquisite” stamp served as the identifying mark for the company, WAP Watson, which was a renowned jewelry manufacturer in the UK (Solihull, West Midlands) producing handmade jewelry items c. 1914 - 1979.

Materials: 14K (stamped) yellow and white gold; diamonds

Dimensions: the band measures 5.00 mm wide north to south; the piece stands apron. 3.00 mm tall above the finger

Size: 6 1/4 (free sizing)

Diamonds: five Round Brilliant Cut diamonds (.85-.95 ctw., est.) with approx. G-H color and SI clarity overall
