Early 1900s Two-Tone Nine-Stone Old European Cut Diamond Band

Period: c. 1900s-1910s post-Victorian

Materials: 18K gold (warmer than standard yellow, but not quite rose); platinum

Dimensions: the band measures 3.50 mm wide north to south across the top, tapering down to 2.00 mm wide below the finger; the piece stands 2.20 mm tall above the finger

Size: a hair below 5 1/2 (free sizing)

Diamonds: .80-.90 ctw., est.; nine antique cut diamonds (Old European Cut, early Single Cut, and early Swiss Cut) with approx. H-I color and range from VS to I clarity (diamonds graded while in their mounting by a GIA GD)
