Unique Tripartite Old European Cut Diamond Ring from c. 1900-1920

Period: c. 1900-1920 post-Victorian / pre-Art Deco with some Art Nouveau design influence

Materials: 18K gold; platinum; diamonds

Dimensions: measures approx. 23.00 mm north to south; the piece stands 4.20 mm tall above the finger

Size: 7 (free sizing within two steps)

Diamonds: (eleven antique diamonds; 1.10-1.20 ctw., est.) The primary stones are Old European Cut diamonds, gradually increasing in size and color saturation as they flair outwards. The stone closest to the band is approx. 3.50 mm, H color, I1 clarity. The second stone is approx 4.20 mm K color, SI1 clarity. The outermost stone is approx. 4.40 mm, N color, VS1-VS2 clarity. There are eight accent diamonds, comprising a mix of antique Swiss, Old European, and old Single Cuts. (Stone weights and grades are approximate. Diamonds graded in their mountings by a GIA GD.)
