c. 1920s Engraved Platinum Engagement Ring with a 1.44 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Center

Period: c. 1920s-early '30s post-Edwardian (the ring was crafted in the Art Deco era, but in a late-Edwardian style)

Materials: platinum; diamonds

Dimensions: the widest point of the ring is the diamond itself, measuring 7.57mm; the ring stands 5mm tall above the finger

Size: 5 1/4 (free sizing)

Diamonds:

    Center: GIA certified 1.44 carat Old European Cut diamond with K color and SI2 clarity (this stone has excellent polish and a particularly beautiful facet pattern)

    Accents: four deep Old Mine Cut diamonds (.25-.30 ctw., est.) with approx. I-J color and VS2-SI1 clarity overall
